There's something strangely nostalgic about paying a visit to a crumbling ruin. It reminds you of a bygone era, where mad rulers held council with themselves over their own minds. It reminds you of the long walks you might have taken when it was in its glory, and the gloomy ones you took when it was gone. It reminds you of whimsy and fun, but also frustration and chaos. Eventually, it is lost to time, its full form never entirely preserved, its burning questions forever remaining unanswered.

Wherever King Sammer is, and if any of these other users were not also him pretending to hate himself, I hope their lives now are far healthier, more fruitful, and more sensical than when they decided to waste their time here. This forum is a strange piece of history, and it shall always remain that way.

It's funny to think about, how 4 months can go by in a barren wasteland and nothing changes. Walking back in here and seeing no activity, no sounds, no indication of any life...this empty space taking up some dark corner of a server far, far away. Chances are nobody will ever see this. Nobody will ever come back. And yet it will sit here, untouched, for years to come.

I just thought that was interesting.

A new year is usually celebrated as a time of rebirth, growth, and change. But here, nothing changes. And perhaps I will be the only person ever to remember it happened.

Emotional pain is usually a motivator. It inspires change and resolution. But for some, it simply lingers. A weight, a chain, a reminder of patterns. If only everyone could be so lucky as to let it go.

Have you ever tried escaping into another world? Sometimes it can be pleasant. Sometimes it's simply a painkiller. Either way, it doesn't change where you come from. Perhaps it's better to stay in one place.

I shouldn't have looked back. It hurts to remember... and now every mystery floods back, still unanswered. No answers will ever come of this endless dialogue. And yet here I stay.
That being said, I should fix the numbering while I have the chance.

I've never truly been lonely. But the constant lack of anything happening here is...disheartening. I return again and again, expecting something, anything. And nothing happens.

Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?

Things are falling to pieces outside. I keep waiting for something to finally shatter so that things will change. I may be waiting for a very long time.
